Point to Ponder: For Jesus, prayer was simply a conversation with his Father in heaven.

Verses to Remember: “This, then, is how you should pray:‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one’” (Matthew 6:9–13).

Question to Consider: How could patience, confidence, and reverence become a greater part of my conversation with God this week?
